Embodiment of love and selfless service to one's neighbour
Around Puttaparthi, due to the annual visits to our School project and through our friends and project partners on the ground, Navin Karadoni and Jolanda Tan Roth, this SEVA project Love All Serve All comes to life.
Selfless service (Sanskrit: Seva) is a spiritual discipline, of which Sathya Sai Baba said it is „the true essence of devotion, the true breath of a disciple of the Lord, his very nature.“ Seva is an action that is not fixed on results, but rather is oriented towards placing everything that arises from our personal effort into the hands of the Divine Source. This demands of us the readiness to let go of our conceptions at any time – even those of „doing good“ – and instead to develop the awareness that the Divine Source is the inner movement in everything.
Together with Navin, Jolanda and their helpers, who themselves have been doing Seva for decades, we travel to remote villages and bring the Relief supplies there, where it is needed for the greatest good. Our main focus is on providing Food, medicine, walking aids, wheelchairs, glasses, educational support, new Clothing, the Reconstruction of destroyed houses, Dem Transport of people to hospitals and Energy healing.
Widows and mothers receive a Sewing machine and sewing lessons, to her own income to earn, so that children no longer have to contribute to the family income through child labour. The purchase of a Cow serves families as „Life insurance“ and thus offers genuine self-help. And if it is suitable for all involved, the cow will be christened with the name of the noble donor.
In the rural regions around Puttaparthi, many families face existential challenges. SEVA – Love All Serve All picks up where support is most urgently needed. We are convinced: Only a comprehensive approach creates real change.
