In many regions of India, girls grow up in conditions that offer them little protection and few opportunities. Poverty, lack of access to education, and societal pressures endanger their development and their future. Living conditions are particularly challenging in rural and structurally weak regions. Dropping out of school, early marriage, or exploitative working conditions are real risks. State aid is often insufficient or does not reach those affected. Girls are often left defenceless against these circumstances – not due to a lack of will, but a lack of opportunity.

There are many girls who have lost their parents or have to flee from violence, forced marriage, and abusive child labour. There is a great danger that they will be sent to beg on the streets, fall into the hands of unscrupulous traffickers, and become Prostitutes Or Domestic slaves being exploited.

The Anandavalasa Care School & Hostel In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, 250 disadvantaged girls are enabled to overcome their hopeless situation. This Shelter provides girls in need who are affected by poverty, violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or prostitution with a safe place to live, learn and grow.

Thanks to personal sponsorships and donations, these girls are given the chance to lead a life of their own choosing!

Through dedicated female caretakers and teachers, the girls' boarding house with an integrated school offers high educational quality. They train the girls as seamstresses, cooks, service staff, or in the IT sector, and help them to find secure and paid employment.

This project will create from 2025 a safe space, where girls Safety, Education and new perspectives for their future.
